Please find the requirement below , If you find yourself comfortable with the requirement please reply back with the your updated resume and I will get back to you or I would really appreciate if you can give me a call back at my contact number 408-693-3170 *Role: Cloud Administration* *Location: Lincolnshire, IL* *Duration: 8 Months Contract* *MOI: Telephonic + Skype* *Skills Required:* Experience in administering Cloudera including activities like deploy cluster, add and remove nodes, keep track of jobs, monitor critical parts of the cluster, configure name-node high availability, schedule and configure it and take backups • General operational expertise such as good troubleshooting skills, understanding of system?s capacity, bottlenecks, basics of memory, CPU, OS, storage, and networks. • Must have management and administration experience with Cloudera 5.x (3/4/5/etc.) including experience with Backup and Disaster Recovery (BDR), Rsync, multi-site failover and failback, and business continuity. • Responsible for implementation and ongoing administration of Cloudera infrastructure. • Aligning with the systems engineering team to propose and deploy new hardware and software environments required for Cloudera and to expand existing environments. • Working with data delivery teams to setup new Cloudera users. This job includes setting up Linux users, setting up Kerberos principals and testing HDFS, Hive, Pig and MapReduce access for the new users. • Cluster maintenance is as well required. • Monitoring, Performance tuning of clusters • Screen cluster job performances and capacity planning • Monitor cluster connectivity and security • Manage and review log files. • File system management and monitoring. • HDFS support and maintenance, disk space management • Diligently teaming with the infrastructure, network, database, application and business intelligence teams to guarantee high data quality and availability. • Collaborating with application teams to install operating system and Cloudera updates, patches, version upgrades when required. • Automate manual tasks. • Software installation and configuration, patches and upgrades *Desirable Skills* Experienced in working as a Cloudera Administration Hadoop big data management • Working with data delivery teams to setup new Cloudera users.
