Title : Sr. Build & Release Automation Engineer Duration:12+ months Location: Atlanta, GA *Rate : $48/hr* Requirement: Create, maintain, manage build environments using Jenkins, Maven, GIT, artifactory, and CHEF. Work closely with project managers, developers, and test engineers during application launch phase of the software development life cycle. Coordinate with operations staff to create installation and roll back plans for production releases. Successfully drive the launch process for new product releases ensuring on-time delivery. Coordinate day-to-day release activities for multiple applications in Linux Test environments. Perform root cause analysis, practice risk mitigation, and moderate conversations between multiple stakeholders. Participate in process improvement initiatives for the Release Management process. Required Skills/Qualifications: BS in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent work experience. 5+ years working in release/configuration management. 5+ years working in a Unix/Linux environment. 5+ years working with Jenkins, Maven, stash/Bitbucket/GIT, and Artifactory. 1+ years writing CHEF cookbooks and recipes including demonstrated knowledge of chef client, chef server, and knife command. Excellent problem solving skills. Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. Capacity for attending to detail. Ideal candidates will also have: Experience with Hadoop software framework Experience developing and maintaining Java applications. Experience with tcServer, Apache, Tomcat.
