Position: BI Developer with Sharepoint Duration: 6+ Months Location: NYC, NY (Need Locals or Nearby F2F Required) Rate: DOE *Job Description:* Need 10+ Years BI Developer with Sharepoint BI: SSIS/SSRS Able to troubleshoot and have some experience in building cubes (SSAS) · The BI Developer will be the primary source of expertise for Microsoft Business Intelligence and visualization within a larger team of information warehouse Developers. They will take full ownership of Microsoft BI stack including Power Pivot, Power View and integration with Excel and SharePoint. They will take primary responsibility for the SSAS and SSAS Tabular data layers. · Microsoft Business Intelligence Developer Responsibilities · Subject matter expert in Microsoft Business Intelligence toolset will provide strategic advice to the GIS management team. · Collaborate with the business owners, warehouse Developers to design robust well integrated Business Intelligence solutions. · Developer the Microsoft Business Intelligence solutions utilizing MS SQL Server 2012 SSAS, SSRS, Power Pivot, Power View, and integration with Excel and SharePoint. · Oversee the development of Microsoft Business Intelligence solutions by third parties, both mentoring and ensuring that robust standards are maintained. · Develop and manage the BI presentation layer communication tools and documentation. · Collaborate with the SharePoint & Infrastructure Developers to define and configure Microsoft Business Intelligence tools within the SharePoint infrastructure.
