Job Title: Project Manager Position Location: Raleigh, NC Duration: 12 Months In person interview Must have State gov experience. Local candidates preferred. DMV Modernization is a key initiative to DOT and Legislature and requires this project to develop strategy and roadmap to undertake the modernization of the remaining DMV applications to include keeping all DMV applications operationally sound and support DMV business units during the modernization effort. Project Manager for highly visible broad impact project. Proven experience managing 3rd party vendors Working knowledge of application development in a variety of technical platforms including mainframe Proven planning and management skills, including scope, estimating, budgeting and resource allocation procedures Strong analytical and conceptual skills Proven leadership skills including team development Strong written and verbal communication skills Proven experience for planning, monitoring and controlling projects Strong knowledge of Project Management processes and industry best practices Demonstrated experience managing application development teams Excellent organizational and presentation skills Proven experience managing large projects (> $5M) Preferred: PMP Certification Project Management within government environment Experience with data security and PII security standards Expected Skills: Able to manage highly complex work efforts; may have advanced education; may have extensive industry experience.
