We have an immediate need for a* Business Analyst *who will:
· Develop project related documents, e.g. use case, gap analysis,
requirement matrix, design documents and report layout/requirements.
· Need to understand the reports delivered from the current system
and be able to create the report requirements for the new system.
· Write use cases (or similar requirements related documents),
which will involve data flow, business logic/calculations and reports.
· Work closely with the business stakeholders, SMEs, development
team and will also be involved in the testing of the system.
· Be able to work with minimal supervision.
· Need to be a quick study and persistent.
· Meet with senior staff to understand the new system requirements,
reports, etc.
· Meet with senior staff to understand the existing system
requirements, reports, etc.
· Write the system requirement, use cases and other documents
necessary for the development team to produce the new system. This includes
understanding of the data model, data and doing the analysis for the
requirements and reports for the new system.
· Create reports/charts/graphs in the Excel sheet, if and when
required.
· Understand data to be used to create the new system/QA process.
*The candidate must be able to pass a Federal Suitability Check for a
position of public trust.*
*Required Skills:*
· Business analyst experience creating system and reports
requirements and related documents
· Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), gap analysis, data, and
reports generally used in the software projects
· Experience working in the ETL, Interface and BI systems, and
delivering reports
· Writing and communicating in a professional environment
· Microsoft Word and Excel
· Experience working with the data/data analysis (Oracle,
SQL*Developer, TOAD)
*Desired Skills:*
· Database/SQL
· SAS
· Understanding of the data model/ER diagram
