Please find the job description as below and let me know if you are interested and send your resume in word format with below detail: *Full Name:* *Expected Rate$:* *Contact Number:* *Email:* *Current Location:* *Availability:* *Job title: Microstrategy Developer/Expert with Payments Domain*** *Location: Pleasanton, CA*** *Duration: 3 to 6 months* *Principal Duties and Responsibilities*: · Strong understanding of Datawarehousing and BI concepts · Ability to develop & Design Microstrategy projects support different business users and multiple reports · Ability to handle and design scalable high volume reports in Microstrategy · Ability to Migrate projects / objects from one version of Microstrategy to another and from one environment to other · Hands on experience with Microstrategy Desktop, Microstrategy Web, Microstrategy Object Manager, Microstrategy SDK and other tools · Drive MicroStrategy 9 design and implementation of reporting tools and dashboards. · Design and develop MDX Cubes, Dynamic dashboards and reports · Perform MicroStrategy development, including configuration, project design, upgrades, and implementation · Administer and Support the MicroStrategy environment · Perform problem assessment, resolution and documentation. Validate performance and quality of new and existing reports and environments and tune if required. · Optimize existing system design and procedures to solve new problems in a dynamic business environment. · Implement solutions considering infrastructure capability, limitation, operating time and efficiency, supportability and desired business results. · Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with Business Analysts, ETL developers and QA team. · Effective team player with minimal supervision and effectively meet project deadlines. · Excellent knowledge of relational database technologies with advanced capabilities in at least one industry grade relation database systems – DB2 UDB, SQL Server 2003 · Responsible for the adoption and implementation of Blackhawk's software development methodology by adopting best practices from current methodologies like SCRUM, RUP, Extreme Programming, Test Driven Development and Agile Model Driven Development *Knowledge and Skill Requirements* · Minimum 8 years of total IT experience · 5 years of Data Warehouse / Business Intelligence experience · 5 years of Hands-on development experience with MicroStrategy products. · Comprehensive knowledge of the MicroStrategy tool suite (I-Server, Architect, Desktop, Web, Narrowcast, OLAP Services and Report Services). · MicroStrategy Administration and Development, including installation, configuration, project design and implementation highly desirable. · Experience in designing complex reports for Data marts and Adhoc reporting. · Strong problem solving/analytical skills. · Experience with MicroStrategy SDK is a plus · Experience Payments Domain is preferred · Certification and/or solid knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts preferred.
