Job Description: Able to perform TM1 installation and configurations of server and client application for these components. TM1 Server, Tm1 Operations Console, Tm1 Applications, Tm1 Web, Microsoft Office Tm1 client tools Perspective and Cognos Analysis for Excel(CAFÉ), Cognos Insight. Know how to apply patches to these components and rollbacks. Ability to write understandable documentation. Work with TM1 server in different authentication modes and be able to switch modes Tm1 configuration to operate in these different modes, Native security, ldap, Active Directory, Cognos Business Intelligence security integration. Having worked with Tm1 integration between Cognos Business Intelligence components -Monitor performance and provide tuning recommendations to the TM1 Sever, Tm1 Instance, web server, Operating system or detect other possible bottlenecks. Experience with providing high uptime production support. Knowledge of TM1 Disaster Recovery and backup/restore processes for the server installation and the Tm1 business data. Administrator positions require the following: Need to be well organized and have the ability to independently complete tasks and. Must have knowledge of the workings of Windows servers and desktops. Aware of the different features available in windows server that could be used in architectural designs. Proficient in the use of command line operation. Have a firm understanding of windows registry and how installed applications integrated into the registry. Understand how 32 bit applications running on a 64bit operating system installation. Have the ability to write and debug windows scripts that that have proper error handling and utilize reusable coding. Familiar with steps of troubleshooting application issues that might be caused by operating system and not the application itself. Understand the differences in running servers in a virtualized environment versus physical hardware. Knowledge of IIS and Apache web servers and Tomcat application server configurations -Understand Microsoft Active Directory LDAP -Have basic knowledge of Databases and sql(preferably Oracle) to be able to run scripts for troubleshooting or administrative purposes. Database performance tuning of sql is not a requirement -Provide off hour support when necessary -Willing to document change management (ITSM) and other tasks and adhere to strict procedures for audit requirements.
