WYSE terminal experience is a plus* * Job Description* • Candidates should have strong experience with vSphere and XenDesktop from large enterprise environments (10,000+ end users). Candidates will be responsible for deployment & maintenance in this Operations role. WYSE terminal experience is a plus • Global financial Firm in NYC is seeking a virtual desktop administrator to work in end user support using VMWare VSphere, citrix XENDesktop and similar technologies. • This role will be responsible for troubleshooting virtual desktop issues, maintaining daily VM requests, working with both remote and on site users and collaborating with global peers. *Job Responsibilities * • Assist with deploying and administrating a large Virtual Desktop Environment with primary-use VMs for a Smart Working Environment. • Provision large number of Virtual Desktops using in-house automation tools and deployment technologies • Work independently to identify and appropriately troubleshoot VM issues; collaborate with appropriate Desktop teams to resolve • Be able to troubleshoot issues relating to WYSE terminals; work with network and other desktop teams to resolveThis candidate must also • Be able to understand and implement performance monitoring tools for Windows 7 VMs • Demonstrate excellent understanding of technology and the role of the "client" in relation to the larger IT infrastructure • Participate in problem management and root cause analysis and maintain 24x7 availability and monitoring of VDI-related systems *Job Requirement* • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in overall IT (either systems or network support/engineering) • 2+ years of IT support experience planning, deploying, managing and troubleshooting VDI in a large-sized public company • Demonstrated experience with VMWare or third party hypervisor technologies--(VMware vCloud Director (vCD),VMware View, VMware Site Recovery Manager (SRM), VMware Orchestrator) • Demonstrated understanding and adherence of change-control process management required • Solid understanding of systems automation provisioning, performance tuning, and general systems trouble shooting skills in a converged infrastructure required • Expert level experience with one or more of the following: vCloud Director, vSphere, Citrix XenDesktop, XenApp, XenServer and related VDI products. • Advanced Technical Certifications including knowledge of virtualization, networking, storage, and compute platforms. • Hands on experience with VMware vSphere, Citrix VDI-in-a-box, Citrix XenDesktop or other virtualization products. • Demonstrated experience with large project rollouts at an enterprise level • Recent experience with implementation and support of Smart Working environment using WYSE terminals as edge devices highly desired. • Solid understanding of data center related technology and collocation environment Regards , Kailash Negi Recruitment Manager VSG Business Solutions 221 Cornwell Dr Bear, DE Email : kail...@vsgbusinesssolutions.com Phone : 302-261-3207 x 102 -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP or Oracle Financials" group.
