*Job Description* *Profile: Project Manager*
*Work Location: Carlsbad, CA* *Duration: 6 months initially, could extend* *Interview: Phone/Skype* *Position Summary:* The IT Project Manager III manages and delivers small to medium IT projects*, and assists more senior project managers and PMO leaders in managing large projects and the overall IT portfolio*. This person is responsible for all aspects of assigned projects, providing direction to project teams and is ultimately responsible for project success. *Key Objectives of the role:* · Oversee all aspects of project scope, schedule, risks and overall management to ensure and drive successful delivery of assigned projects. · May work on IT project management aspects of Mergers, Acquisitions, Divestitures and Integrations. · Define and establish deliverables and milestones in project plans, ensure that they are achieved within cost, schedule, scope, and quality. · Responsible for managing and overseeing the operation of assigned projects, conducting requirements sessions, setting milestones, reviewing progress, reporting status, re- allocating resources, and resolving conflicts. · Responsible for overall capital and operating expense project budget development and management for assigned projects. · Assure that the project teams are leveraging the Project Management Framework (PMF) from Assessment through Benefits Measurement. · Assure that project teams are managing communications, change management, and training. · May manage critical supplier and internal customer relationships. · *Work with the PMO Team and Senior Leaders* to help practice and spread project management standards, disciplines and rigor. · Leverage best practices in the use and integration of portfolio and project management methods and tools. · Leverage industry best practices to plan, manage, monitor and report on all projects. · Provide documentation of all PMO framework deliverables. · Assists IT PMO leader in managing IT portfolio including working with IT leadership and driving heatmaps and road maps, including resourcing and budgeting discussions. *Minimum Qualifications (must have):* · Bachelor's degree in project management, computer science, computer engineering, business/systems analysis or equivalent experience. · Master’s degree in a related field a plus. · Minimum of 5+ years of IT work experience with 2+ years of IT Project Management. · Proven ability to lead small teams, manage project deliverables, and maintain client relationships. · Experience in managing project budgets, project plans, resource allocations, and priorities. · Basic understanding of Project Management methodologies · Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies and processing environments. · Exceptional interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation and negotiation. · Excellent analytical and technical skills. · Excellent written and verbal communication skills. · Excellent planning and organizational skills. . · Travel: 25% - 40% *Preferred Qualifications (nice to have):* · PMO experience · PMP Certification · Six Sigma Experience/Certification, FDA Computer Systems Validation, or M&A/Integration experience is a plus. *Thanks & Regards,* *MIKE* *IT RECRUITER* *Office ID: [email protected] <[email protected]>* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP or Oracle Financials" group.
