*Location: MA* *Duration: 3-6 months*
This position will provide an extension to Clients engineering teams supporting *VMware vSphere and VDI infrastructure. * The candidate will be expected to assist in the ongoing support, deployment and integration of current and future virtualization technologies, as well as provide knowledge transfer to Clients staff. The candidate should demonstrate advanced technical knowledge of VMware vSphere 4 and View products, including storage (EMC, NetApp), HP Blade hardware, backup, scripting and monitoring solutions and have experience integrating such products / solutions in large Enterprises. In this position, working with Clients infrastructure engineers, the candidate will be accountable for (but not limited to) the following: * Participating and/or managing vSphere and View deployments/migrations * Ongoing maintenance and production support of VDI and vSphere environment * Consulting on existing and future vSphere and VDI solutions * Validate existing documentation, create / update as needed * Knowledge transfer to team members.
