Data mine a variety of different data sources and types Lead analysis, architecture, design, and development of data cubes and business intelligence solutions Lead the onsite and offshore team to deliver the technology solution. Develop and implement robust data models and data interfaces for high volume systems Lead the design and development of Data Transformation, Data Extraction and Data Aggregation from several disparate client systems. Capacity planning, performance tuning to ensure system scalability with acceptable performance benchmarks. Ability to work at all levels – From development and code review to architecture and dashboard design. Act as the techno-functional consultant for all Business Analytics solutions Transportation industry domain knowledge a big plus. Required Skills: Analytical approach to problem-solving; ability to use technology to solve business problems 8+ years of overall technology experience, with 2+ years in Data Analytics/ Data Modelling or Business Intelligence space. Experience using data visualization tools such as Domo or Tableau. Functional proficiency in SQL, NoSQL, and relational database design and development Experience with Data Integration, ETL tools Advanced SQL knowledge. Can tune SQL provided by BI Tools for performance optimization. Proven experience with data warehousing and data modeling and data aggregation Working knowledge of statistical programming language such as R or SAS. Enterprise architecture experience Experience in programming scripting languages such as Java, Python, Pearl, Ruby, Scala Experience using open source big data components such as Hadoop, AWS EMR, Amazon ML, Spark, Hive, Pig, HBase, Flume, Mahout, Sqoop is a big plus. Real-time analytics and batch processing Experience with AWS or equivalent cloud platforms Experience building predictive models, machine learning algorithms, and recommendation engines is also a big plus. BS/MS in quantitative (statistics, mathematics, economics) or technical field (Computer Science or related).
