*GC/USC only* *NEED LOCALS(Can go for F2F)* *Job Description:* Client is looking for someone to work closely with Client departments to project manage, plan, design and implement/install radio telecomm links and Wi Fi access equipment to enhance internet connectivity at various Client offices and key visitor areas. This consultant will reference a proposed plan that was completed in consultation with NIS and Client Communications. · Combination of PM and hands on technical skills is must. · Contractor will review the proposal for recommend improvements and work with any required departments within the county (e.g. NIS, County Comm) to project manage, plan, design and implement/install radio telecomm links and Wi Fi access equipment to enable internet connectivity for staff and visitors at various county parks. · Solid knowledge various connectivity options for both wired and wireless internet connectivity for example but not limited to Fiber optic, Cable, Wi fi, Satellite, cellular towers etc.) · Hands on experience with planning, design, implementation, configuration, testing and maintenance of data communications and RF Equipment for wireless internet setup to route traffic securely for employees and visitors. · Hands on experience project managing, planning, designing, implementing, configuring, troubleshooting setup of Wireless internet with appropriate security setups · Four year degree in computer science, information systems, systems analysis, systems engineering, programming, data or database administration or analysis · Project manage, plan, design and implement Wireless internet. Work with resources from Client departments and any engaged vendors to implement the project scope across various parks. · Consultant will be responsible to ensure implementation is per Client Standards and guidelines to ensure security, future scalability and maintainability of the implementation Consultant will need to travel to Client sites as required. · The contractor must work with Client departments to ensure work is completed on time. · Contractor must establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships; prepare, present and interpret factual and statistical dates to department staff and communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing. · Contractor must consider Client and department implications or any change in approach, plan or timeline. · Weekly progress reports are expected. Contractor will be expected to drive this project to implementation and escalate as necessary to ensure objectives are met.
