Job Title: Business Analyst Location: Tallahassee, FL Duration: 10 Months Need 3 references - see below: Required Tasks to Be Performed Lead requirements definitions meetings with DEP customers Analyze and document requirements for authorizations to determine data entry requirements and mapping to any existing DEP components necessary to capture the data. Identify any new type of data entry components required. For each new component identified, create and update analysis documentation to include wireframes, process maps, process maps, business data definitions and business rules. Gather, analyze, document & validate user requirements Create Visio process maps, requirements traceability matrices, use cases and other business analysis documentation appropriate to the specifically assigned project needs. Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs) 5+ experience as a business analyst on software development/maintenance projects Ability to effectively communicate with both technical and business resources and to translate business needs into effective technical specifications Proven experience in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software and hardware solutions, systems, or products. Ability to conduct research into application development issues and products. Experience in Quality Control, Testing, and/or Validation of large-scale software development projects Excellent written and oral communication skills. Excellent listening and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language. Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Strong customer service orientation. Keen attention to detail. Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs) 2+ years’ experience as a business analyst/developer working with environmental issues.
