Also do risk assessments, but primary will be gathering and analyzing data for external audits and helping with external responses. Industry – should have an understanding of compliance ideally healthcare or operations. Some form of external audit support. CMS contracting company resources have worked in the past. Will be functional audits (enrollment or claims transactions) They will need to drive the audit process and collect information. Should understand whole audit process. Audit scope and sample size will be defined.
