*Deliverables: *This is an operationally funded position to provide on-call
support to SAFE for the following:



1.       Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for the Safety Measurement System (SMS)
suite of applications.

2.       Field Technical liaison for IT efforts pertaining to SAFE.

3.       Desktop support for Windows XP, Windows 7, and Windows 8
environments.

4.       Service Desk ticket resolution using the Maximo Service Desk
module.

5.       Setup of and installation of workstations, video teleconferencing,
network devices, and mobile devices.

6.       Maintenance and management of SAFE IT computers, mobile devices,
and other IT equipment, to include office systems and classroom systems.

7.       Research and development of IT-related solutions in support of
Safety operations.

8.       Hardware and Software installation of complex IT solutions.

Inventory control of IT-related hardware and software products for the
Safety Department.

*Supplemental Duties:*

In addition to the qualifications specified in the Statement of Work, the
candidate must possess the following qualifications:



   1. *Must have transit industry experience in a safety organization.*
   2. *Must have experience utilizing Safety Management applications.*
   3. Must have practical experience utilizing root cause analysis
   software, such as TapRoot.
   4. Must have experience providing IT support to safety officers and
   managers throughout incident and safety situation lifecycles.
   5. *Must have understanding of OSHA principles and environment
   management and industrial hygiene.*
   6. *Must have experience using and managing Android, iOS, and Windows
   mobile devices. *
   7. *Must have experience providing help desk support in a Microsoft
   Exchange/ Active Directory environment. *
   8. *Must have Sharepoint 2010 practical experience. *
   9. Must have experience in the installation and operation of video
   teleconferencing systems.
   10. *Must have experience in the installation, configuration, and
   operation of desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and networks. *
   11. Must have experience with IT classroom equipment setup and operation.
   12. *Must have experience researching, developing, and implementing
   unique technology and IT solutions. *
   13. *Must have an understanding of the principles of fatigue management.
   *
   14. Must be able to work from various locations throughout the
   metropolitan DC area.

Must be able to lift and carry items in excess of 30 pounds.
