MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: 3 or more years of CURRENT experience providing advanced Technical or Techno-Functional Level 3 production support for a highly customized Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 environment....should have prior development/ customization experience on at least 2 implementations: Experience writing customizations to X++ code in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012, troubleshooting technical issues, and performing root cause analysis of the code. Experience with integrations to/from Dynamics AX using AIF services, DIXF tools. Expert level understanding of Dynamics AX 2012 data structures, database objects, layers, and model store Good experience writing SQL queries and experience with MS SQL Server Excellent verbal and written communication skills JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Work on an existing Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 implementation doing level 2 and level 3 support by phone and in person including heavy troubleshooting and root cause analysis of a highly customized environment. Communicate heavily with business users and IT staff to define and resolve requirements for both technical and techno-functional issues. Define issues and suggest recommended solutions in written form. Answer users’ questions in a timely manner, applying technical and functional knowledge of Dynamics AX 2012 setting appropriate expectations on time frames to research problems and find solutions. Support/maintain/troubleshoot systems utilizing necessary hardware and software testing tools and techniques. Investigate problems, in conjunction with analysts or manager, and prepare or assist in preparation of problem definitions, recommended solutions, work around procedures. Participate in systems support including but not limited to testing, conversions, and user training in Dynamics AX 2012 functionality.
