Expenses will be reimbursed* DHHS DSOHF is seeking to hire a senior level Technical Solutions Architect for the Broughton Hospital Infrastructure Project. This position requires hands-on experience in a broad range of IT Infrastructure for State facility in Morganton, NC. This includes the design, configuration and implementation, at greenfield construction site, of IT network (LAN, switches, routers, firewalls, Network Access Control (NAC), Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP), network monitoring tools, layer 2 and layer 3 security configurations. Emphasis on LAN, WAN, VLAN and NAC experience; switch configurations; posture assessment;, endpoint security, policy assessments and remediation analysis. Architect will be expected to work without assistance; provide leadership to others; able to manage highly complex work efforts of third party engineers using current industry experience and manufacturers' best practices. Description (including, but not limited to): 1. Design and configuration of both the hardware and software necessary for a LAN/WLAN computer network. 2. Installation, configuration and administration of network routers and switches 3. Design of network VLANs, IPS, firewall, nexus switches, Cisco core, Network Access Control (NAC), VOIP, SNMP, WLAN, Cisco ISE, Qos, IP Video, ACLs, VRF, DHCP, subnets. 4. Configuration and testing of network using network monitoring tools: Solarwinds, Cisco Prime, WhatsUpGold; analysis of net flows, and load balancers.
