This will be 70% Java Development and 30% ETL development. *REPLY ME AT:dayle.wil...@itbtalent.com <dayle.wil...@itbtalent.com>* Keys to the Position .Must have at least 1 year of development experience with Talend or another ETL tool (Datastage, Informatica, Kettle, etc) or at least an interest in working with ETL tools. More specifically experience in Talend Data Integration, Talend Administration Console (TAC), Talend ESB would be a big +. If the candidate does not have Talend, they will be expected to be strong with Java, specifically with multi-threading and understanding database structures. .Must have at least 4 -5 years of Core Java development experience and will need to have experience working with Spring .Must have strong SQL skills – will be asked to optimize the database SQL performance. .AWS is a strong plus – This person will have the opportunity to work with AWS in this role so this experience will be helpful .Must have initiative and take ownership and pride in their work .Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must .Leadership skills are a big plus – ability to do code reviews, stand up sessions, provide technical guidance, etc. Minimum Requirements: 8+ years of proven analysis and technical design, development, and architecture experience Experience in relational database technologies with strong SQL skills. Familiarity with ETL Tools is a plus. Material Talend experience strongly desired. Expert knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, and data modeling. Oracle skills is plus Expertise developing Java applications using JDBC and JMS. Strong understanding of Object Oriented design, Relational Database concepts, RESTful Services and DevOps Experience/Familiarity with AWS is a plus.
