Pay Rate: $45/hr MAXXX NYC Institutional Securities Technology (IST) in conjunction with related Technology divisions faces off to the business and its support services to develop and oversee the overall technology strategy and bespoke technology solutions to drive and enable the enterprise. Our clients include Fixed Income, Equities, Commodities, Investment Banking, Research, Global Capital Markets, Operations, Finance, and Legal & Compliance. The business management function supports IST with a broad remit including headcount management, technology financials (both provider and business unit receiver based), portfolio and project management, and administrative management. The IST Reporting Team designs, maintains, and provides support for multiple reporting packs which utilize various data sources within the firm. We are looking for a driven Financial Data and Reporting person to join our team. You will be responsible for building, maintaining, and automating the production of Sr. Management reporting packs which pull data from multiple sources. You will also be responsible for automating the daily extracts of data which the packs utilize. You should be able to work independently and as a dedicated contributor to the team and be able to demonstrate flexibility while delivering clear results and meeting deadlines. You should be interested in continuous self-improvement around changing firm processes, data, and tools. Responsibilities: - Automation of daily extracts of data into files, databases, and SharePoint - Automation of the reconciliation of daily data feeds - Building financial models - Preparation, management, and improvement of consolidated financial dashboards - Compile and prepare standard and ad hoc financial reports and analyses - Maintain and manage data queries in multiple data sources which update regularly - Periodically improve and automate current reports - Execute on ad-hoc requests/inquiries - Provide suggestions for process improvements - Through internal research, familiarize oneself with various types of data and reporting tools which evolve on a regular basis Skills required: - Strong knowledge of VBA and SQL - Extensive experience automating daily data extracts, reconciliations, and report production - Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills including pivot tables, formulas, and functions - Experience building MS Excel based models - Experience analyzing and reconciling large sets of data - MS Access, databases - Proficient financial reporting skills - Business Objects - Experience creating Qlikview and Tableau dashboards - Strong attention to detail - Demonstrated ability to multi-task, deliver timely accurate and complete work on tight deadlines - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision - Advanced analytical skills - Strong planning and organizing skills - Bachelor degree in IT, Finance or Business Skills desired: - Experience working with OLAP Cubes - Data mining - SharePoint - SQL Server Regards, Sara Wilson - Staffing Manager Direct : 646-340-0603 sara.wil...@itbtalent.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP or Oracle Financials" group.
