Job Description: Experience with Oracle’s Identity Manager (OIM). Experience with Peoplesoft. Experience with Oracle and SQL. Experience working in a large, distributed organization. The Office of Information Technology (OIT) at the University of Minnesota seeks a business analyst to assist with testing, analysis, and documentation during the rollout of a new Identity Management system. We are looking for someone who thrives in a team environment, can learn quickly, and is willing to step in and help the team with the work needed to launch the new system. The successful candidate will have strong collaboration and communication skills. Experience working in Oracle's Identity Manager or other identity management systems is a plus but not required. This position will be available starting as soon as possible and continuing through the end of March 2017. Job Responsibilities: Create detailed test plans; execute test plans and document test statistics, metrics, and results. Document current processes and prepare business/technical requirements for new or existing individual applications or module functions. Assist in formulating and defining system scope and objectives through research and fact finding Assist with creating detailed functional/technical system specifications by researching business or user needs and documenting requirements. Evaluate and follow through on issues and problems until resolved or escalated; assist with project communications, including status reports and updates. Attend team meetings, take notes, document action items and responsible team members. Required Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree in a related field and 2 or more years experience working in the areas of business or systems analysis. Experience with software quality assurance, including test development and manual test execution. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with a variety of people.
