*Position:: Hadoop Test Lead * *Location:: : Detroit, MI * *Duration:: Contract role* *Description* • Create test plans, test data , data validation SQL scripts and analyze test results • setup and maintain test environments • Design and test ETL processes in Oracle and Hadoop platforms • Write and troubleshoot SQL queries and stored procedures • Collaborate with Data Analysts, ETL developers, and other stakeholders on requirements and design • Develop scalable and reusable processes and automation frameworks for analyzing data and delivering ongoing quality metrics (leveraging SQL, PL SQL, UNIX, PYTHON, HIVE and other tools) Qualifications: • Four or more years of test development experience in BI/DW • Expertise in Data analysis, Data migration, and Business intelligence solutions • Hands-on experience with Hadoop and tools such as Hive, Sqoop, Pig, Impala and Spark is required • Experience with Informatica is a plus • Experience working on an Agile team using test driven development • Strong understanding of Datawarehouse, Big Data and BI Analytics concepts • Strong experience in SQL, PL/SQL Oracle, Informatica & Tableau • Demonstrated experience implementing automation frameworks using scripting languages/tools like Shell, Java, Python • Experience with Jenkins CI platform • Deep knowledge and hands-on experience with iterative (Agile/Scrum) and waterfall development methodologies • Ability to be flexible and work with ambiguous requirements.
