*Project Summary*

The Peformance Testing Services is provided by one central team. Team
assist wholesale application teams with benchmarking performance, load and
capacity test and isolating root cause of performance bottlenecks.

*Responsibilities - In detail*

•Provide Perfromance testing support for following types of applications:
   - Web & Rich Internet Apps (web, flex, SAP web)
   - SOA Apps (Web Services, MQ, JMS)
  - Oracle based Apps (Oracle NCA, PeopleSoft, Seibel, Oracle Web)
  - Remote Apps (Citirx,etc)
•At least 5 to 6 years of experience in performance testing/engineering.
Strong performance testing and analysis skills  using Load Runner, and
Jmeter.
• Strong experience on doing performance testing of Web page testing,
Webservices/REST APIs and other protocols. • • Sound understanding of
capturing application and system metrics (response times, throughput, CPU,
Memory, IO)
• Hands on experience on tools such as perfmon, SAR, Vmstat, IOStat,
Performance Center
• Strong experience on working on Windows, Linux boxes
• Strong experience in doing bottleneck analysis using tools like dynatrace
or other open source tools on Java stack
• Ability to independently create performance test strategy, test plans to
include all important details such as workload modelling
•Ability to work independently with customer
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Design and development of test planning, test specification, test
automation framework.
• Communicate project and testing status to internal and external teams
• Multi-tasking ability in a high stress environment
• Understand the internal and external software development/release
processes
• Perform root cause analysis to identify problems in design and/or
implementation
• Submit, Regress and Verify defects


*Technical Skills - In Detail (Essential Skills)*

• Should have hands-on experience in Performance automation testing.
• Hands on experience in gathering performace metrics using tools such as:
       • Sensu, Redi, Uchiwa, Grafana.
• Hands on experience in analyzing logs thorugh tools such as is Elastic
Search, Logstash and Kibana.
• Tools familiarity in : JMeter • Neoload • VSTS Ultimate • VSTS Enterprise
• LoadRunner • Performance Center • SolrMeter • Watir SilkPerformer • New
Relic • Dynatrace • TeamQuest • SAR • NMon • Cloudwatch • Splunk • Jenkins
• PerfMon • HttpWatch • YSlow Fiddler • PageSpeed • Solr • Attivio •
Qlikview • VUGEN
• Experience in Database testing using Oracle and SQL skills.
• Strong troubleshooting background.
• Hands-on experience with automation testing, continuous integration
• Proficient in Test Planning and test case writing and designing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.


*Technical Skills (Desired Skills)*

• Should have hands-on experience working on Load Runner, Jmeter,
Dynatrace, HP Performance Center is a must.
• Experience in Performance  testing and  Engineering Services: Load
Testing, Soak Testing, Stress testing, Performance Tuning
• Strong troubleshooting background.
• Hands-on experience with white box and grey box testing, automation
testing, continuous integration.
• Proficient in Test Planning and test case writing and designing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

*Experience Level*

• 8+ years of experience in Software QA with focus on Performance
Engineering
• 4-5 years of hands on experience working on Performance Testing tools.

*Interview Process*

3 rounds. 2 (L1, L2) will be internal and 1 will be with customer
