Ø Experience with AEM componentry and platform, focusing architecture, re-usability, stability, performance, automation and related metrics. Ø Java-based skill-set with extremely thorough understanding of AEM building blocks, templates, components, dialogs, widgets, and development / deployment processes. Ø Experience with dependency management, build & release and automation tools (Maven/Ivy, Jenkins/Bamboo, Chef/Puppet). ***Pluses to have*** • AEM 6 Architect Certification. • Complete understanding of other Adobe cloud services that can be implemented with AEM. • Experience with AEM v6.x Touch UI. • SEO knowledge. • Desire to help drive the development team forward. • Client-facing communication skills. *Key Responsibilities:* • Assume ownership over the AEM componentry and platform, focusing architecture, re-usability, stability, performance, automation and related metrics. • Define and implement best practices, code style guides, and various testing standards, including peer reviews and critiques. Strongly advocate and coordinate consistency across projects, discuss future and current technology practices, and evangelize proper Agile workflows. • Provide technical leadership while taking a key part in architectural and strategic decisions with solutions. This will include requirements review, estimates, and discovery. • Collaborate with other teams to help maintain the Agile methodology and improve workflows on products currently used and those on the product roadmap. This will include maturity of various applications into a regular delivery pipeline, focusing on test coverage, continuous integration, and application health metrics. *Preferred Qualifications* • 5+ years, with experience working on large-scale web media-based solutions. • Ability to lead technical conversations with Product, Business and Ads leadership, in addition to Engineering and Support/Operations teams. • Conveys highly technical concepts and information in written form to technical and non-technical audiences. • The ability to work on multiple concurrent projects is essential.
