Job Description:
One of my clients in DC is looking for an ACBS Data Mart Developer for a
3-6+ month project.
*Experience:*
*· * Develop software applications and modules in accordance with
specifications and standards
1 Participation in all phases of project life cycle, design,
development, test, debug, maintain and update
2 Develop software applications by encoding project requirements in
Oracle database objects such as queries, views and stored procedures
3 Confirm program operation by conducting tests; modifying program
sequence and/or codes
4 Provide reference for support and architecture teams by writing and
maintaining technical requirements and system specifications
5 Candidate must also have the ability to:
· Set and meet goals
1 Handle multiple tasks
2 Respond to quick turnaround requests
3 Work independently and as part of a team
4 Take directions from Project Manager
*Technical Knowledge:*
- Software design, software debugging, software development
fundamentals, software documentation, software testing, software
requirements
- Knowledge of Data Warehouse design and tools
- Very good understanding of PL/SQL, database programming and query
tuning techniques in Oracle 10g
- Strong understanding of ACBS DataMart database objects
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science and at least 6 years of
programming experience
- Business knowledge of ACBS and ACBS DataMart technologies and
processes preferred
