Please call me on *6145037633 *or e-mail me at *[email protected] <[email protected]>* *Job Title:* *SQL Server DBA* *Location: **Windsor Mill, MD* *Contract Length: Long Term * *Job Description:**-* an immediate need for a* SQL Server DBA *who will: - Establish standards for development and production support for application systems on a Windows platform. - Evaluate SQL server tools, developing database support and design standards/guidelines, developing application development standards for SQL Server, and providing DBA support for SQL Server databases. *The candidate must be able to pass a Federal Suitability Check for a position of public trust.* - Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, with eleven (11) years of professional experience - Experience in Database Administration in SQL Server - Experience scripting Windows Batch and PowerShell - Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database integrity issues, performance issues, blocking and deadlocking issues, replication issues, log shipping issues, connectivity issues, security issues etc. - Experience in Performance Tuning, Query Optimization, using Performance Monitor, SQL Profiler and other related monitoring and troubleshooting tools - Experience in implementing operational automation - Knowledge of how indexes, index management, integrity checks, configuration, patching.
