*Senior Data Modeler* *6+ Months*
*West Chester, PA* The Enterprise Data modeler role will support data strategy work, deliver data models and document data reference architectures that enhance our project delivery. * Support data analysis for ongoing projects at Company * Help to gather data requirements and collaborate with data architects to develop logical and physical data models * Deliver and publish logical and physical data models * Maintenance of data dictionary and/or metadata repositories * Develop data mapping documents for data development teams to use * Partner with architects and developers for project work * Liaison between ETL/data services team, application teams to support the development of data solutions * Present data models as needed to other teams * Collaborate with other business analysts and subject matter experts within Company to develop detailed data models * Work on an onshore/offshore model to support data modeling for new projects * Contribute to data reference standards * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science preferred * 7+ years' experience in the area of data management, modeling, data analysis, and/or reporting * Strong data/business analysis skills * Strong communication skills * Strong technical documentation and technical writing skills * Prior experience with financial services, retirement, insurance, or medical records industry highly desirable * Proficient with data modeling tools such as ERwin or Embarcadero ER Studio * Experience working with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, Sybase * Familiarity with BI tools like Business Objects or OBIEE * Familiarity with ETL tools like informatica * Knowledge of Big Data technologies a plus * Ability to collaborate in a multi-site matrixed work environment * Familiarity with enterprise architecture and data architecture concepts * Eagerness to learn new tools and technologies * Experience working in an agile or continuous improvement environment.
