What Project/Projects will the candidate be working on while on assignment?
This is for a Service Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations of
the Debt Manager application, reporting to the Service Manager. Debt
Manager

is a vendor product used by the PRS team as a debt collection workflow to
recover provider overpayments. This is an Optum commercial product, and we

are looking to expand our customer revenue out to external companies. They
will provide OM and improvement support to a vendor-based commercial

product. They will also help with code remediation fixes for .Net and Java
applications that were flagged with web vulnerabilities during static code

scans.

The Debt Manager team will consist of this SC onshore, and an offshore
full-time resource. The offshore team lead and onshore Service Manager also

have experience with the software product.

What are the top 5-10 responsibilities for this position? (Please be
detailed as to what the candidate is expected to do or complete on a daily
basis)
1) Be the primary point of contact for our business, OM, and vendor teams
2) Be responsible for daily operations (incl. availability, monitoring,
batch, quality, incidents, etc)
3) Manage production incidents, requests, problem fixes, and application
changes
4) Identify trends and improvements for performance, process, security,
proactive fixes, etc
5) Manage updates related to PLMs, vendor fixes, and software upgrades
6) Manage metrics for availability, incident volume, and infrastructure
costs
7) Perform code fixes of web vulnerabilities for additional applications

What software tools/skills are needed to perform these daily
responsibilities?
What skills/attributes are a must have?
o distributed platform experience (Unix, Wintel, etc)
o Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Visio)
o experience working on middleware where application is hosted
o web app coding experience (.Net, Java, JBoss, Apache)
o Incident/Problem management, and Change control (ADR, ServiceNow)
o Database experience beyond queries
o Prior Experience working in Production Support environment.

o experience with source-build-deploy (Subversion, CodeHub, AnthillPro,
Jenkins, Excel Deploy)
o distributed batch (TWSd, DOS .bat)
o database (SQL Server, SSRS, Oracle)

o web security (Fortify scanning, WebInspect, encryption keys)
o Knowledge of RESTFUL Web Services OR any other Web Service
