*UX Designer*Location: Columbus, OH Duration: 3 Months with good possibility of extension Interview: Phone/ Skype (Face To Face If Local) Citizenship: Eligible to work in the United States The focus on this is User Experience Design, not front end development. They need a candidate to perform UX design on an internal vendor management application. JavaScript , HTML, CSS UI development is a highly desired skill and candidates with this skillset will be more likely to go long term because the client will be able to use their development skills on the project. The actual project will go 12-18 months. Candidates do not have to be local to Columbus, but as always, local candidates are a plus. Please focus on this position. It is top priority for Beacon Hill and McGraw. Position Title: UX Designer Required Skills: 10+ years of experience as a UX Designer 8+ years of experience with HTML and CSS Must have experience on 2-3 projects focused on feature-rich websites Experience creating artifacts from gathered requirements Experience creating user flows (end-end) and responsive UI designs Experience in an Agile environment Experience working with Business Analysts on a daily basic Must be comfortable in an ever-changing, fast-paced team Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must Desired Skills: Experience with JavaScript Development is HIGHLY desired Experience with JQuery & Angular Experience in Education or Publishing industry Some exposure to contracts or IP rights systems A Bachelor’s degree in Business or Computer Science is highly desired Description of Role/Responsibilities: We are looking for a seasoned UX Designer to join in the initial phases of building a new system that help the global organization keep track of 3rd party contracts and Intellectual Property rights. This person will be responsible for taking requirements from the Business Analysts and creating/designing the layout of the website. Ideal candidates will have successfully completed 2-3 projects on feature-rich, web-based, mobile sites. Candidates that also have JavaScript, JQuery and Angular experience will be given preference as the UI will be a huge component of this project as well. This is an opportunity for the selected candidate to help lay the foundation for the rest of the project.
