*Position: Java Full stack Developer* *Location: Sunnyvale, CA (Locals Only)* *Duration: 6+ Months Contract* Client: Equinix *Interview : Phone + F2F* *Sr Developer– Java/FullStack* *Job Description:* As a key member of the Global Software Architecture &Engineeringteam (GSAE) you will be responsible for end to end development lifecycle from requirement, solution, design, implementation, testing and deployment with a focus on delivering solutions against business goals, technical requirements and platform engineering standards.The role must be hands on and will be willingness to work as DevOps model. *Experience and Skills:* Must haves - *BS/MS EE/CS degree or equivalent with 9+ years of software development experience*. - Strong Design Skills in Java and Distributed Systems. - Strong fundamentals on Computer Science; Algorithms and DS. - Strong Knowledge in *Java/JEE, Spring, Hibernate based application development.* - *2+ years of hands-on experience with NoSQL technologies such as Mongo DB/Cassandra along with good experience on traditional RDBMS. * - Experience using *SOLR or Elastic Search* - Ability to migrate large datasets between different database systems through SQL and other means. - Experience in *Bus/Queues like Tibco EMS, Kafka.* - Experience in using *Storm or Spark for fast data processing.* - Experience working with *UI code using AngularJS* - Good knowledge in TDD - Experience building RESTful services - Good understanding of Caching frameworks - Good understanding of Design Patterns. - Good analytical & debugging skills - Experience with source code management tools (ex: svn, Git) - Exposure to scrum or another agile methodology *Nice to have (desired skills)* - Akka, Play framework, Spring boot - Knowledge in designing and developing in Micro Services Architecture, Docker. - Networking domain experience also will be a plus. - Experience with NodeJS and ExpressJS will also be a plus.
