Position : QA Tester Location : Grands Rapids, VA Duration : 6 Months contract to hire Essential Functions: Participate in requirements gathering and design sessions. Provide timely updates to the Team Lead and Project Manager on the status of testing activities. Analyze project requirements and risks for test strategy and planning development. Develop and maintain documentation for: Master Test Plans Test Design Specifications Test Procedure Specifications where applicable Test Case catalogs where applicable Test Case Specifications Test Summaries Automated Test Script Traceability Requirements Traceability Execute testing according to the plan. Develop and maintain automated testing scripts. Maintain test coverage at specified levels where applicable. Develop and maintain testing infrastructure (e.g. mocks, test data, configuration) where applicable. Analyze testing related metrics to determine testing efficiency and effectiveness. Document defects found while executing tests according the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). Participate in the review of test case specifications. Participate in the review of automated test scripts. Assists end users with User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
