   - Previous communications/carrier experience is great
   - Job description is lengthy – not looking for someone with everything,
   but someone that does have some portion of that expertise with deep
   knowledge on voice design
   - NOT entry level – don’t have time to train, need someone who can help
   immediately



*Skills:*

   - Solid TCP/ IP network experience, networking protocol knowledge (CIP)
   - Need OSPF experience
   - Cisco knowledge is helpful
   - Don’t need in-depth knowledge of routing protocols, but HMs will ask
   about it if it’s on the resume
   - Won’t be setting up OSPF networks – more the application layer and
   specific voice and signaling protocols
   - Strong documentation skills  - able to communicate via documentation
   and diagramming and capture technical details



This is really a Support Engineer for VIPER’s Recording team.  They will
support recording/storage and playbacks for single users and up to entire
sites.  They will monitor and detect issues on lots of HW and parts from
RMA’s and daily responsibility will include responding to alerts and
engaging with their 3 main vendors for Cloud DVR: Aris, Cisco and
CleverSafe for archiving.  Everything is Unix Red Hat based so Unix/Linux
is crucial.  *They also must have BASH scripting and GO.*  They are moving
toward tool building and automation.  Also required is AGILE and working in
a Production/DevOps type of environment.



Working with Aris and Lever Safe an archiving Vendor. Supports recording,
storage and playbacks. Will require on-call rotation. Detect in monitoring
hardware and parts of RMA's. Spending their days responding to all alerts
that come in, engaging with the vendors. Alerts for any server up to 5%
severity failures, Single user to site issues. All UNIX Red Hat, BASH
scripting skills and “GO” to help out with tool building an automation.
Legacy cloud DVR migration to RIO.   Kubernetes and MemSQL and IT streaming
or mpeg is all nice to have.  4+ years support minimum, more experience
with command line/research skills good, must be able to find solutions.

called RIO (?)



Kubernetes, MEM  SQL and IT Streaming or MPEG are all nice to have’s.  She
wants someone more experienced, at minimum of 4+ years Linux.  Must have
exceptional command line skills and research abilities.  Network/router
knowledge also helpful – knowing how to do PC dumps and run show commands
good too.
