Please do not submit if you cannot provide them. *JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: * Responsible for the design, development, implementation, support and execution of Teradata SQL queries, stored procedures, macros and other database objects in analytic and active data warehousing applications within the Data Services Team. Responsible for performing peer review and testing of code built by other developers on the team and will adhere to all quality control, coding and testing standards as defined by the team. · Maintains key working business knowledge of all data stores to include but not limited to Teradata operational data store, data warehouse, and dependent data marts. · Model and develop databases and data structures to satisfy business processes and technical requirements. · Solve complex requirements using expert-level SQL techniques such as OLAP windowing functions, derived tables, temporal selects, triggers, queue tables, · Design, implement and maintain code in development, test and production environments. Design solutions to support systematic promotion between environments. · Perform advanced thought leadership and work writing, modifying, tuning and debugging database join and partitioned indexes, simple and complex queries, stored procedures, views, user-defined functions and other database objects to meet ADW and decision support SLAs. · Identify complex data patterns and inconsistencies through data analysis and data mining. · Monitor databases using tools like SQL Sentry Viewpoint, DBQL and AmpUsage to propose solutions to identify and prevent deadlocks , blockings and evaluate performance tuning results. · Assist with data integration exercises like data mapping and migration. · Follow project specifications and corporate coding standards and policies. · Creates deployment plans to promote code and database objects from development environments to higher environments. · Ensures proper configuration management and change controls are implemented. · Provide technical assistance and cross training to other team members and to users for generation of adhoc SQL and reports. · Design and implement technology best practices, guidelines and repeatable processes. · Prepares and presents status updates in an Agile environment. · Collaborate with Product Owners and Scrum Masters to interpret feature requests and develop services in and iterative design/build/test cycles using an Agile development principles and practices · Performs other duties as required.
