Position : Splunk Developer with Strong Power User Location : Austin, TX Duration : 12 months At least one relevant professional information security certification (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CRISC, SANS GIAC, and so on) is required. Splunk Power User consultant *Description:* Sr. Splunk Power User - Infrastructure Engineering & Operations Security Team Position Summary The Sr. Splunk Power User will provide subject matter expertise in development, assessments and solutions across the organization. This position will assist and support the PayPal Splunk Power User with help creating and/or tuning of Splunk searches, dashboards, reports and alerts. *Key Competencies* . Capable of thoroughly reviewing current use cases, dashboard components to ensure alignment with security requirements, standards and best practices; . Able to communicate advanced visualization, dashboard design related concepts to both technical and nontechnical audiences . Must possess excellent documentation and presentation skills . Able to represent the power user viewpoint through excellent communication skills to both technical and non-technical audience . Strong interpersonal skills and positive attitude required to interface with all levels within the organization is a must Education, Qualifications & Experience . Minimum undergraduate degree in Technology, Computer Science or any related field of study is required . Minimum 3+ years relevant advanced visualization/dashboards/reports/alerts experience . At least one relevant professional information security certification (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CRISC, SANS GIAC, and so on) is required. .
