COGNOS Developer for our client in the insurance industry in Wayne, PA Rate: Open Duration: 6 months Rate : $50/hr C2C Primary Functions and Responsibilities: Design, develop, test, support, maintain, and document Cognos applications. Design, develop, test, support, maintain, and document Cognos interfaces, using best practices. Document job assignment via the IT/Systems Application Database, including time spent per assignment. Document all applications or processes in a central repository defined by the management. Work with other team members to develop, document, and implement processes correcting deficiencies, improving reliability or increasing efficiency. Participate in planning and implementation of Cognos integration with other systems or applications. Assist in problem analysis and resolve issues related to Cognos Decision Stream/PowerPlay/Impromptu/Access Manager and any other Cognos product implemented in the future. Follow strict SOX guidelines and procedures.
