May be in future we can get in touch. * **Position : Information Modeler* *Location : Rahway, NJ* *Duration : 6 Months+* *Onshore Info Modeler for Ph I Implem and Ph II A&D* · Knowledge of reference architecture at the information attributes level and ability to create conceptual, logical and physical data models. Scope of work will require significant mapping, and data capture and analysis in addition to modeling efforts using tools such as visio, PPT, Erwin and power builder. · Work with end users to gain an understanding of the information and core data concepts behind their Business. · Work closely with end users, Business Analysts, and the Development Team to develop data models. · Assist in defining Business Requirements for IT projects. · Define Data and System Requirements based on Business Process and/or Business Requirements Analysis. · Responsible for the design and development of transactional database models for custom application development. · Responsible for the design and development of database models for the operational data store, data warehouse, and federated databases to support Enterprise Information Management Strategy. · Work closely with Data Integration developer to define XML schema definitions. · Provide database implementation and database administrative support for custom application development efforts. · Perform operational data management for existing applications. · Perform data reconciliation between integrated systems. · Perform data analysis to troubleshoot systems and/or process issues. · Define and implement data migration process for COTS implementation. · Assist in the definition of Enterprise Data Standards. · Assist in the oversight for compliance to the Enterprise Data Standards. · Ensure database design best practices for custom applications development, COTS implementation, and data integration, including: o Database change management o Automated Database Deployment o Agile Database Development Methodology · Strong business requirements and data analysis experience. · 5 - 7 years of data modelling experience with both relational and dimensional modelling techniques. · 7+ years of experience in software development and/or business system implementation. · Experience in developing Transactional, ODS, and DW databases. · Experience with MS SQL Server 2008 and above. · Must have a good understanding of data relationships and a strong command of SQL syntax. · Experience with ER Studio or similar data modelling tools. · XML Schema Definition Language knowledge a plus. · Familiarity with Business Objects Product suite (Data Integrator, Data Quality, etc.) a plus. * Thanks & Regards, Bhageerath| Sr. Resourcing Specialist SYSTEL INC.
