This is in Jacksonville, but this person will travel once a month (for a week) to Philadelphia to the client site. *I need a VERY Senior .NET Developer. VB6 to VB.NET guru.*** *They must have a MINIMUM of 3 years experience going VB6 to VB.NETMigrations. * They will start 1/10, but we need to have someone identified. Prefer EAD, Green Card or Citizen. JOB DESCRIPTION: Senior level.NET developer with demonstrated experience developing enterprise class applications. Specific experience in migrating VB6 applications to VB.NET.Candidate will be akey contributor to designing, coding, testing, deploying, debugging and documenting the application migration. Expected to know and understand the complexities and dependencies in common VB6 to VB.Net migrations and provide leadership in those areas and insight in how to avoid common migration pitfalls. Also the ability to estimate work efforts and tasks for the migration process of the application. This short project if executed properly will lead to a long term project starting early January 2011.
