Title: *Database developer *
Location: San Francisco CA
Rate: 40$ per hour
Duration: 6 Months
Start Date : Immediate
*JOB DESCRIPTION:*
Database developer performs number of database and back office related tasks
including but not limited to support existing database code, designing and
developing database migration and load procedures, working with DBA and
other team members on interfaces to various backend and back office systems.
*Qualifications:*
• Must have excellent team work, problem solving, customer service and
communication skills and ability to effectively communicate and work with
local and offshore teams
• Bachelors degree or equivalent
• Oracle database knowledge
• Advanced SQL and PL/SQL knowledge with at least 5 years of experience
• Database modeling (OLTP, OLAP) with 2 years of experience
• Experience to design, develop and support processes to populate/refresh
datamarts
• Data migration and management experience
• Experience with Siebel is a plus
• Experience with SAP is a plus
• Experience with Cognos Data Manager is a plus
*In this role, the primary responsibilities will include (but are not
limited to):*
• Data modeling and architecture (Data Warehouse/OLTP)
• Advanced SQL and PL/SQL knowledge
• Developing and supporting back end structures/interfaces/processes to
third party systems:
o Siebel
o SAP
o Cognos Data Manager
• Working in a team that supports ETL tools
