*Job description:* Job Title : Integration SOA Architect Rate : Open Location : Buffalo, NY Duration : 1+Year *(Note: Communication should be topnotch -9/10 – It’s a phone to Hire position – 4 posiitons)* * * * Title: *Integration SOA Architect *Location:* Buffalo, NY *Length: *520 Billable Days *Start Date*: ASAP *# of Positions:* 4 * Job description:* *CTG *has immediate openings in the Buffalo, NY area for experienced *SOA Architects *with* Java*. Projects are over two years. If not local to the Buffalo area, you would need to relocate or travel weekly to the Buffalo area. The *Software Architect* will also be responsible for providing *technical solutions* to a variety of business problems. The Software Architect will be accountable for *gathering and documenting business requirements, analyzing and designing the solution to meet those business requirements and guiding the implementation team to a successful solution implementation*. This includes the assessment of new products and methods, *developing and implementing appropriate enterprise practices across multiple operating systems and hardware platforms* as appropriate. The ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization, including senior management, is essential. · Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent in experience and education. · *Minimum of 5 to 7 years experience in systems support role with demonstrated results in analytics, configuring, coding, testing, problem solving and support, or demonstrated equivalent knowledge.* *· Experience with methodology based development (SDLC).* *· Understanding of application design principles and application architecture.* *· Ability to navigate and work on multiple development platforms such as OS/400, AIX or Windows.* *· Extensive knowledge of SQL.
