Location: *Columbia, MD, Marlborough, MA, Phoenix AZ, or REMOTE*
*Job Duties: *
The Successful Candidate will install, configure, & support mission
critical, production servers & storage in a large enterprise environment.
The desired candidate should be able to perform Linux/SAN administration
tasks with minimal supervision.
*SKILLS: *
Strong dedication, work ethics, sense of teamwork, & professional attitude
Minimum five years of experience in of UNIX or SAN administration.
Experienced in installation, configuration & support of Red Hat Enterprise
Linux
Experienced in vi (UNIX text editor), admin commands & shell scripting.
Experienced in RPM installation, removal & upgrade
User account administration
Good oral & written communication skills.
*Experience in following areas is a plus: *
Configuring network bonding
Patching & firmware upgrades at the serve/storage level.
Linux LVM (Logical Volume Management Knowledge regarding RAID0, RAID1,
RAID5, RAID10 storage configuration
Installation & configuration of I/O multi-pathing software e.g. PowerPath &
Device Mapper
Server & SAN performance monitoring
Familiarity with basic SAN fabric administration tasks (aliasing, zoning &
switch config
Certification in RedHat UNIX, Experience with Cisco UCS hardware
