This team is responsible for the design,implementation and support of the Cloud and Infrastructure for the development, customer quality, build and release engineering environments. Support of this infrastructure includes the deployment and management of Linux/Unix servers, Cloud infrastructure, capacity planning, performance tuning, operating system images, DNS, Web server administration, Storage administration along with Level 3 support. Must possess excellent, demonstrable problem solving skills. Minimum 5 years UNIX (Solaris) and Linux (Redhat) systems administration experience. Exhibits leadership qualities and strong procedural and architectural documentation skills, experience with related tools (such as visio). Previous work experience in a development, qa or infrastructure organization is a plus as well as providing support within a large enterprise environment, preferably a data center environment. Experience with VMware (ESX) virtualization on big iron servers. Required Skills: 5+ years of relevant experience Unix administration experience Minimum 7 years of strong Linux Redhat administration experience Solid fundamentals in Linux operating systems and prior experience managing 1000+ Linux servers in a large scale environment VMware Administration Strong Perl, php, bash/sh scripting experience Strong experience with Kickstart for Linux builds, updates using YUM NetApp, HDS and SAN Solid understanding of networking principles Broad knowledge of common applications and technologies in Internet computing (web servers, proxies, load balancers, etc) VERITAS suite of products, e.g. Advanced VERITAS Volume Manager (VxVM), Veritas Cluster Server (VCS) Apache Bind F5 and Netscaler load balancers.
