*Job Description:
Responsibilities:*
*Serve as senior Remedy consultant with in-depth knowledge of BMC Remedy AR
System (minimum v7.5)
*Maintain the existing business process and implement new business
processes using Remedy ARS and other components
*Conduct site assessments and prepare complex design proposals; develop and
execute upgrade implementation plans
*Maintain communications with customers, end users, suppliers, vendors as
appropriate in order to ensure appropriate designs. Research and gather
information for complex customer requirements
*Integrate the business processes implemented in the Remedy ARS System with
other systems
*Apply specialization to conceptualize, design, construct, test and
implement portions of business and technical information technology
solutions through application of appropriate software development life
cycle methodology (SDLC)
*Use appropriate tools to analyze, identify and resolve business and or
technical problems when designing information technology solutions.
Recommend new tools or procedures as appropriate
*Act as a key technical resource in the Remedy 7.5 upgrade project.
*Develops Remedy ITSM Suite and Custom Application solutions in new 7.5
environments.
*Architect solutions in BMC Remedy Action Request System (ARS) up to 7.x as
well as ITSM suite, CMDB, SRM, Mid-Tier and related tools.
*As needed during the 7.5 upgrade project: analyze, design and develop new
requirements, customizes new ITSM applications, upgrading ITSM App from
earlier version to 7.x and developing complex applications using ARS
development environment
*Develop Crystal Reports and deploy in Crystal Enterprise Server in support
of the 7.5 upgrade project
*Integrate various external integration tools with ARS Including but not
limited to HP Open View, LDAP, Business Objects and Mobile Device Platforms
in support of the 7.5 upgrade projects.
*Develops workflows, customizes, implements and maintains applications on
ARS and remedy platform independently
*Customizes ITSM 7.x application suite, develops independent applications
on the AR System. Integrates with Application systems and troubleshooting
Tier 3 level escalations

*Certification:
*Remedy ITSM/ITIL certification is a plus*

*Job Requirements:*
*In-depth experience on the Remedy AR System engine and ITSM suite: Remedy.
Helpdesk, Remedy Change Management, Remedy Asset, Remedy Knowledge
Management and CMDB.
*ARS System: Notification, Web Services, DSO, Work Flow Objects (Creation
of Active Links, Filters, Escalations, Forms and Form objects, Vendor Form,
View Form, DB links * Also ability to decide which is the best type of
workflow for given situation e.g. you may use AL and Filter both for an
action but which one will you use and why), Installation and Configuration,
Understanding of Performance Tuning (Next Request ID block size, List
thread & Fast Thread and so on), Server Group, Load Balancer
*Remedy Application Enhancements: Ability to modify Action Request System
based workflow objects.
*Third Party Integration: AD integration, AIE integration or any other
tools, event monitoring.
*Atrium CMDB: Class creation; attribute manipulation, Reconciliation Jobs,
Discovery Tools. Good Understanding of ITIL concepts (Certification
preferred).Good interpersonal, excellent communication skills, excellent
problem solving, analytical, technical, team building skills in a
fast-paced, high-growth environment.
*Remedy core development expertise in ARS 7.5 and ARS 7.6 platforms:
- Re-engineering Remedy custom applications.
- Experience with BMC ITSM (CMDB 2.x, Asset Management 7.x, Change
Management 7.x, and Service Desk 7.x) suite of Applications setup,
implementation and customization.
- Atrium AIE and reconciliation Job setup configuration.
- Experience in upgrading BMC ITSM Applications from lower versions to
releases of higher version.
- Experience in Knowledge Management integration technologies with Remedy
