*Position: Remedy Developer* *No of position: 4* *Location: * - *3 can be in either San Jose, CA or Phoenix, AZ* - *1 must be in Phoenix, AZ* *Duration: 6 months+* * * *Responsibilities: * - Participate in project design sessions with the project manager and system users. - Design, build, unit test, and integration test the custom built Remedy AR system plus any necessary UNIX scripts, VB.NET scripts, or Java programs to handle file manipulation. - Confirm estimations of development time and perform implementations according to project plans. - Develop according to the design docs and follow best practices while adhering to coding standards. - Present completed code and completed unit test documentation in code review session among IT peers. - Apply problem solving skills and provide root cause analysis as production or project issues arise. - Interact with business analyst to create and review test cases. Where applicable, program testing automation using testing tools for such testing scenarios. *Requirements: * - 3+ years of technical expertise building and support custom applications built in BMC’s Remedy AR software platform. - Excellent skills in problem solving, client interaction, communication, and presentation. - Deep understanding of the full Software Development Lifecycle. - Extensive background in client/server and three-tier system architecture. - Minimum of 7 years of system analysis, process design and project/product development, with a good mix of functional and technical expertise. - Complete understanding of the quality assurance process, test methodologies, and software quality management principles.
