Job -Business Management - Tools Developer City: New York State: New York Description: Location: NYC Rate: open Duration-6 MONTHS+ Note from Hiring manager--- new role is with Morgan Stanley....they are basically looking for someone with strong Excel/Acess skills. If they have development with sharepoint it is great, if not they need to know it from the user perspective. They are mostly going to be doing maintainance/Adhoc work, project co-ordination, financial data, head count etc. They will be interacting with users, need to be reliable and thourough. Business objects is a plus. Primary duties This role is a combination of support/BAU work and new initiatives. They need someone with good follow through skills and organizational skills. Develop and maintain tools that provide business management reports. Data sourced from firm wide systems; Sharepoint; SQL sources; MS Access; flat files; Excel; Business Objects. Tools are based in Sharepoint; Excel; MS Access. Reports are primarily Excel with heavy reliance on Pivot Tables. Respond to stakeholder requests for business management information.
