*Position : Firewall Administrator Location : Lincolnshire, IL Duration : 6 Month(s) plus extensions* Must-haves 2-3 years of Checkpoint Firewall experience Ability to move firewall rules around IPSec tunnels, VPN, take user requests, make sure firewall access works IP addressing Create Rule Sets/Policies Checkpoint Firewall background - day to day operational responsibilities of checkpoint firewalls Plusses Networking background - someone who started in a network position but is now in a security/firewall position CISSP/CCNA/CCNT Exposure to Juniper firewalls Day-to-Day These candidates will be working within the IT/Telecommunications department, assigned to a project that recently started because of an acquisition of a portion of the company. They will be doing firewall administration and not only place firewalls in the correct spots, but break up the applications, create rule sets, and segment the network.
