*Please reply at soh...@panzersolutions.com*** Job Title : Java Developer with NoSQL Location : TX, MO, IL or GA Duration : 1 Year Contract *Required Skills:* 5+ Years of experience with Core Java 3+ Years of experience in a distributed database environment specifically *NoSQL data stores * Experience building SOA web services accessing distributed databases Large-scale hands on Cassandra or Coherence implementation experience (ideally both) Good communication skills, and someone who is able to participate in daily scrum sessions *Plusses: *LAN/WAN protocols (TCP, UDP, FTP, JMS etc) Data Serialization formats (Avro, POF, Thrift, JSON, XML etc) Building fault tolerance and failover patterns into Distributed Systems Data Loading experience in a Distributed Data Base environment Data scalability and multi-tenant data architectures Performance and optimization in a large distributed system environment Experience with or Knowledge of ZooKeeper Experience with Hardware (specifically tailoring HW for Distributed Systems) Experience with creating Tools, Test Harnesses and Developer utilities Experience with Machine Learning methods and tools Experience with Agile & Test Driven Development Excellent Communication and Presentation skills *Role* Our client is in need of a developer to aid in building a distributed middleware platform, which allows easier access of large amounts of data. Part of this process is the building and implementation of SOAP and REST web services to access the data, as this is a distributed system not relational which makes NOSQL extremely important.
