SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: • BA/BS degree (CS or MIS preferred) or equivalent experience • Minimum of 10+ years’ experience in technology, that include business processes, applications development, technical design, process analysis, and business application implementation and support • 6+ years of hands-on experience in ETL tools such as SSIS using SQL2008/2005 or combined • 2+ years of data modelling experience in EDW (Enterprise Data Warehouse) environment • Familiarity with reporting tools such as SSRS, Crystal reports or similar. • Ability to interpret business requirements into physical data models, ability to maintain data model and develop SSIS packages to support it • Must have been a lead data developer/ ETL developer for at least one full lifecycle DW projects with major BI tools. • Demonstrated understanding of software architectures and software lifecycle methodology. • Established problem resolution, team building, decision-making skills & the ability to work with continual deadline pressure. Exhibited ability to proactively build & maintain a network of effective relationships with people inside & outside group. • Strong ability to communicate business problems, alternatives & project strategy to work group, project team & customer groups. • Strong verbal, written skills • Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and mentoring skills. • Prior experience in conducting Proof of Concepts (POC). • Transact-SQL, replication, DTS/SSIS packages, SQL Agent jobs (3-5 years) • Other software the applicant should be familiar with include, Visual Studio .NET, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Access, and Excel), Windows Operating Systems, Windows Server Applications (IIS, Cluster Administrator, Terminal Services).
