This person will be joining the data warehousing team. We are looking for someone who preferably has previous Netezza DBA experience or someone with strong Unix experience working as a DBA while using Netezza. They will be handling security, access, and migration requests for database objects. Basically everything for the “business as usual” requires. This person will be working alongside the Unix team to monitor the que and will also be running backups and scripts to keep boxes up and running. There will be a rolling 1 week on call rotation.
