Information Security Engineer - Duties & Responsibilities System Security Management 75% Responsible for system security management including account management, network based vulnerability scanning, intrusion detection, proxies, encryption and data loss prevention. Oversee functionality of security systems to ensure security policies are being withheld including internet browsing restrictions and software downloads. Responsible for maintenance and monitoring of security systems Responsible for managing change management process on security systems Responsible for keeping as-build documentation up to date. Software Enhancement & Functionality – 25% Execute enhancement efforts for one or more security product implementations Responsible for a designated set of software tools and the security functionality of these tools. Provide tier-3 support on one or more security products currently in operations at TransUnion. Responsible for management and monitoring of the VTM process. Use deductive reasoning to identify origin of issue to facilitate remediation. Partners with Security Architects to understand system requirements and functionality and implements changes to system against the requirements and functional design. Performs other related duties as assigned.
