*Here is Job Description* MicroStrategy Consultant Columbus, Ohio 6+Months *Must have: Retails, ETL, SSIS, GAP Analysis expereince. * * * * * Purpose: The main purpose of this position will be to finish the MicroStrategy 8 to 9 migration by gathering requirements, doing GAP analysis, and developing any reports that are currently being using in MicroStrategy 8 and not 9. This person may help with some data modeling and ETL work using SSIS. Preferred Skills & Experience Architect, design, develop and deliver BI / Reporting reports using MicroStrategy 9.3.0 and Teradata Lead requirement gathering sessions and guide the business to appropriate solutions Debug data quality issues by analyzing the upstream sources Work with DBAs to fix performance bottlenecks Conduct training and demos with business users so they are comfortable with new environment/reports Work closely with MicroStrategy, Teradata administration teams for code migrations and production support 4+ Years MicroStrategy Experience. Experience with both versions 8.2.1 and 9.3 is a plus. MicroStrategy Certifications Desired. Microsoft SSIS experience Desired. Specific Tasks to Perform Limited Migration Project Do Analysis on MSI 8 Environment to pinpoint what reports are still being run Meet with users of reports being run to determine how they are using the reports Do GAP analysis between reports running in MSI 8 and objects in MSI 9 Develop a strategy to consolidate reports in MSI 8 environment to build less reports to replace them in MSI 9 Sit with users to ensure they understand new environment and reports and that all their needs are met. Document new reports and objects so users can easily understand the different objects available to them.
