 Location: MD

Do have any .net developer available at the moment that could start a
project in Bowie, MD asap? This is a backfill for a candidate that didn’t
show up for the first day today. I have included everything below.



Max pay $50 hr



Project Overview

• Responsible for building out a framework so they can pull data from
various EHR vendors into Inovalon. Building this integration solution from
the ground up, prototype that they can they sell to their customers.

• Building a generic framework to support that process o 50% back o 45%
middle tier o 5% developing info having to do with the site – managing info
for the EHR vendors • Prior experience with EHR would an ideal but NOT
required • If it’s a SR roles goes more into basic stuff – design patterns,
SQL injection, wanting to see how engineers code, scenario questions,
whiteboard a solution out – does not want to babysit a SR developer – very
hands off approach



2 Positions - Software Development Engineer



- Strong .NET background - 4.0

- ASP.NET MVC

- experience building and architect solution from ground up. Knowledge of
design patterns, design layers

- solid SQL Server 2008

- developing business logic using T-SQL a must.

- Agile shop – version controls – code reviews – unit tests

- WTF exp. is a huge plus.



Job Requirements:



4-8 years of experience with a high proficiency with the Microsoft
development platform, including T-SQL and .NET programming languages, and
design patterns.



Description:



The Software Development Engineer II designs and develops software product
applications for market sale or large-scale proprietary software
applications for internal use and is generally involved at the feature
component level of the full software development lifecycle including
testing, implementation, deployment and auditing.

Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for multiple feature components,
creates robust and scalable designs that are easily incorporated into the
feature and meets customer requirements. Develops exemplary code for
multiple feature components that meets the company’s best practice
standards. Code delivered is stable, secure, on schedule and contained
minimal bugs. Understands open issues and mitigation path. Code developed
takes into consideration the “ilities” – scalability, reliability,
maintainability, flexibility, etc. Writes unit tests for each function for
the feature component that effectively exercises the code, surfaces bugs or
design issues and integrates with or complements those used by Test
organization. Code developed for feature component conforms to group coding
standards, is consistent with product design and architecture goals, does
not repeat mistakes, and meets schedule and quality expectations. When
modifying existing code took necessary steps to fix the code and ensure it
meets team and company coding and quality standards. Ensures that the
delivered overall user experience conforms to the feature objectives. Keeps
own work on schedule despite changes in product requirements. Keeps own
work and team commitments on schedule despite changes in product
requirements. Understands the effect of changes on deliverables and leads
in re-planning effort to result in complete-able iteration. Fully utilizes
the development environment tool suite for efficient implementation and
testing of own code. Adapts or enhances the environment to improve
efficiency. Proactively identifies code that does not follow standards and
either fixes it or removes it.
